Chennai Super Kings won by 8 wickets against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final to win their 3rd title.Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson won the Orange Cap for the leading run-scorer of the tournament with 735 runs.Andrew Tye, of KingsXI Punjab, was awarded thePurple Capfor finishing as the leading wicket-taker of the tournament with 24 wickets.Sunil Narine of Kolkata Knight Riders was named Most Valuable Player, also known as Man of the Series, while Rishabh Pant of Delhi Daredevils was named the Emerging Player of the Tournament.
        The 2019 season of the IPL will be the 12th season of the IPL,A professional T20 cricket league established by the BCCI in 2007. It will be held from 29 March to 19 May 2019.According to a BCCI official, a part of the tournament could be held in the United Arab Emirates due to theIndian general elections.

Indian boxer NT Lalbiakkima creates history

A 22-year-old boxer, hailing from Mizoram, was ignored during the selection for the national boxing team earlier this year. A few months    later, when he finally got a chance to play under the Indian colours, he did all the right things. The youngster created history on Saturday when he defeated the World No. 1 and Olympic Gold Medalist Hassanboy Dusmatov at the Kazakhstan President's Cup.
